http://www.PumpLearning.org Provided by the Hydraulic Institute (HI), PumpLearning.org is a Webinar Series based on the Institute's world-class e-Learning course titled “Positive Displacement Pumps: Fundamentals, Design and Applications” offering straight talk, informative live presentations by subject matter experts, delivered directly to a pump professional's desktop. Webinars will be led by industry-leading experts who will also be available to webinar participants in a non-commercial educational forum.

http://www.abma.com/ The American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) is the national, nonprofit trade association that represents and watches out for the interests of the manufacturers of:
  • commercial/institutional boilers;
  • industrial and combined-heat-and-power boilers;
  • electricity-generating boilers;
  • heat recovery systems;
  • economizers
  • combustion and fuel burning systems;
  • environmental systems;
  • controls and instrumentation systems;

http://www.ashrae.org/ ASHRAE was formed by the merger of two societies, American Society of Heating and Ventilating Engineers (ASHVE), known after 1954 as American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHAE) and the American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE). The two merged in 1959.

ASHRAE completed comprehensive market research in order to provide both staff and volunteers information regarding current market needs for ASHRAE products & services. The research covered four main topics among both members and non-members including: Membership Value, Image, Products & Services, Education & Training, Handbooks, and Standards.


http://www.pumps.org/ The Hydraulic Institute is a non-profit industry (trade) association established in 1917. HI and its members are dedicated to excellence in the engineering, manufacture, and application of pumping equipment.

In the United States the Institute is the Secretariat for the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for ISO/TC-115, the international committee responsible for writing pump standards. HI, in this regard, is responsible for developing U.S. positions on draft international standards. The Institute also serves as Secretariat to ISO/TC-115 Subcommittee 3 (SC 3). SC 3 is responsible for Pump Installation and Operation, with an initial workgroup focus on Air Operated Pumps, Viscosity Correction and Pump-Piping Guidelines.

A nonprofit organization, NGWA is comprised of more than 14,000 U.S. and international ground water professionals—contractors, scientists and engineers, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers. Our purpose is to provide guidance to members, government representatives, and the public for sound scientific, economic, and beneficial development, protection, and management of the world's ground water resources.

http://www.pumpsystemsmatter.org/ Conceived by the Hydraulic Institute (HI), Pump Systems Matter TM (PSM) is a market transformation initiative created to assist North American pump system users gain a more competitive business advantage through strategic, broad-based energy management and pump system performance optimization. A primary objective of the initiative is to change the decision-making process for the purchase of pumping systems.

Pump Systems Matter will promote educated decision-making based on life cycle costs, thereby accounting for energy, maintenance and other significant costs factors of operating a pumping system. PSM seeks to transform the market by changing owner and operator decision-making on pumping systems from a focus on first cost to a focus on life cycle costs, while helping pump users capture significant energy-savings and performance improvements.


http://www.awt.org/ The Association of Water Technologies (AWT) is a non-profit trade organization representing hundreds of regional water treatment companies throughout the United States and internationally. These full-service companies specialize in the application of chemical water treatments for industrial and commercial cooling and heating systems.

http://www.wqa.org/ The Water Quality Association (WQA) is a not-for-profit international trade association representing the household, commercial, industrial, and small community water treatment industry. WQA maintains a close dialogue with other organizations representing different aspects of the water industry in order to best serve consumers, government officials, and industry members.

WQA is a resource and information source, a voice for the industry, an educator for professionals, a laboratory for product testing, and a communicator to the public.

The Water Systems Council (WSC) is a national non-profit organization, dedicated to promoting the wider use of wells as modern and affordable safe drinking water systems and to protect ground water resources. WSC members include major manufacturers of the integral components of wells and other small drinking water systems, leading distributors of those components, and other drinking water professionals.

WSC is the only national organization solely focused on individual water wells and other private well-based water systems.
